Partnerships
Local Music Culture considers collaborations that are relevant to readers interested in the people, spaces and practices behind local music. A partnership must be clearly distinct from independent editorial coverage.
Relevant collaborations
We consider proposals for reader-focused collaborations related to local music culture, such as clearly framed educational material or useful resources. Proposals should explain the intended audience, the subject, the form of support and any interests a reader should know about. We do not promise coverage or a favourable view in return for a partnership.
Partner placements
Paid placements may appear in designated partner areas across the publication, including recurring placements on more than one page. Each placement is labelled so readers can tell that it is commercial or partner material, and its presentation will not imitate independent editorial recommendations. We do not accept placements that mislead readers about their purpose or claims.
Proposing a partnership
Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Describe the proposed material, its relevance to readers, the requested placement or collaboration, and any commercial connection involved. We review proposals for fit and clarity; sending one does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
Music culture is made together
A scene is more than a list of performers. It grows through spaces, shared effort and the ways people find and welcome one another.
